### What is paint correction?
Paint correction is the process of removing surface imperfections from your vehicle's clear coat through machine polishing. This includes swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, oxidation, and other defects that dull your paint's appearance.
### Will paint correction damage my clear coat?
When performed by trained professionals, paint correction is safe. We use paint depth gauges to measure your clear coat thickness before starting and monitor throughout the process to ensure we stay within safe limits.
### How long does paint correction last?
The correction itself is permanent — the defects are physically removed. However, new swirls and scratches can develop over time from improper washing. We strongly recommend ceramic coating or PPF after correction to protect the results.
### Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
We recommend at least a single-stage correction before ceramic coating. The coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so starting with a clean, defect-free surface ensures the best possible result.
### Can you remove deep scratches?
We can remove or significantly reduce most scratches that haven't gone through the clear coat. If you can feel a scratch with your fingernail, it may be too deep for polishing alone. We'll assess your paint and give honest recommendations.
